We’re building a custom chatbot inside a Discord server that will act as a smart help assistant for our community. The bot will respond only when tagged or when a user asks a question in the relevant channel, using a connected knowledge base for answers. If no answer is found, it will notify the team via backend alerts.
Requirements: Experience with custom Discord bots, strong API and backend logic skills, and the ability to work independently. Experience with knowledge bases is a plus.
Tech Stack: Suggestions include Node.js (Discord.js) or Python (discord.py), OpenAI API, and Notion API among others.
